The office was donated by one of the party supporters and funded by local enthusiasts and not by the New Delhi-based party, Raj Redij-Gill, convener of AAP UK told HT on Wednesday.
Its members “played a significant role” in the recent Delhi elections through phone campaigns and by “adopting” constituencies for campaign sponsorship, AAP UK said in a release.
It would encourage “NRIs and Indians living in the UK to support the Aam Aadmi Party in India directly through donations and resources in kind”, the release said.
