New Delhi: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Sunday was slapped by an unknown person while he was on his way out from Panipat.
The Chief Minister was at a Congress roadshow in Panipat. Hooda was standing at the front seat of an open Gypsy SUV and in a flash was slapped by an unknown person.
The youth was immediately pounced upon by Haryana Police personnel around Hooda and whisked away from the scene.
An agitated Hooda could be seen giving instructions to the security personnel following the incident.
The identity of the assailant is being ascertained and is taken into custody.
Hooda enjoys Z category security with scores of heavily armed security personnel around him all the time.
