AAP should go national: Voting for them is voting oneself into power

This is a comment taken from the post AAP's stark choice: Consolidate and win or gamble and lose. It has been edited for grammar. By Vishnumohan Nair

Go for national is my opinion.

For one thing, they will get the votes of all the disillusioned citizens of India. That should itself add up to 25% votes, add to that the 20% who belong to the middle class who will vote for AAP. The new AAP cabinet. PTI
The new AAP cabinet. PTI They may not even have to do much campaigning. There's is one thing Congress, media analysts and BJP do not realize when they consider AAP: When voting for an AAP candidate the common man is voting himself into power. Literally my feeling with Kejriwal is that I can pick up the phone and call Kejriwal. Do you for instance know that AAP responds to most emails that you send to them? Something will come as a response. For me, disillusioned as I was, that is a great thing, that they will hear and respond. Also for those hung up on the fact that AAP has no experience in administration, what do the Congress and BJP have experience of? The art of stealing from treasury and making it sound like schemes? With AAP I will know that if they failed with something, they already tried to do the same instead of spinning stories and diversions, I will also expect a detailed study on why a move failed. When we take up a project in the corporate world we don't always know how to do it. We set up a goal, set up a team and then go for it, setting up checks and balances as things go wrong, learning or applying experiences wherever that is available as a process or in a person. For those who are criticizing Kejriwal for how he implemented the freeware scheme, think of this, what other option did he have? Now his team will start setting the problems of the scheme, face it as it comes and fix it the best way possible. Water and power are basic necessities of the common man and that is deserved by every citizen of India, rich or poor.
